Hi, I'm Bria. I draw beautiful little oddities for a living.
I live in Atlanta with my husband Parker, who paints miniatures, a bunny named Honey, and a jumping spider named Dew.
I collect beautiful dead things, and most of my free time goes to books, movies, and beautiful buildings.
I come from a long line of artists. Illustrators on my father's side, painters and designers on my mother's. I started The October Creative in 2019, and it's been my whole job since this spring. I make doodles, fonts, and design assets for other creatives, and every so often a dog in a martini glass.

What exactly is an October Creative?
A kind of person, mostly.
Someone who lingers in the strange, ornate, romantic, and slightly odd parts of things. The romantics, the softly witchy ones, and the people who keep old letters and odd little things. The artists who make beautiful things outside what most people call conventional.
The name comes from October, the month I love best. Things start to die and quiet down, the light goes gold, and the theaters open their seasons. I married Parker in October, too.
